Sourwood honey

high in the blue ridge mountains is a very special tree.under very specific conditions Sourwood blooms arround the Fourth of July. The bees are taken to a mountain in lakemont Georgia high above lake rabun to collect and store what has been agreed upon as the worlds favorite honey, due to its high deman much sourwood sold on the market is not pure. Our sourwood is a shining example of what this honey can be and we were very lucky to produce it this year after 6 failed attempts
