The bees are taken to a mountain in lakemont Georgia high above lake rabun to collect and store what has been agreed upon as the worlds favorite honey, due to its high deman much sourwood sold on the market is not pure. Our sourwood is a shining example of what this honey can be and we were very lucky to produce it this year after 6 failed attempts
